Frozen View Counter. Part II

Okay.
After hours of searching the youtube website for a contact e-mail address- I couldn't find one. No problem, I'll just do what everybody does now and google what I am looking for.

You'd think this e-mail address was the secret to life, because I am telling you right now- It's a pain in the arse to find. So I finally found a link in a forum that was talking about the same issue that I am currently facing. Found a contact e-mail address, copied it. Pasted it. Wrote my e-mail. Within a few minutes I got an e-mail in return.

I knew it would be an automated message to say something along the lines of how "This is a automated message. We will look at your e-mail blaah blaah blaah"- You get the gist. Only thing is...this was an e-mail- FROM YOUTUBE telling me that the e-mail address no longer exists and didn't offer me another way to contact them.

AAARGGGH!

Wow, are they being serious right now? God forbid that they put a forwarding address so then I can get my e-mail to them.  So if anybody has an email address that is actually theirs or a way to fix this problem- please let me know.

Frozen View Counter.

So it appears that Youtube has frozen a few of my view counters on my http://www.youtube.com/YLDFRA channel. I know they have been getting hits, but the view counter has stayed the same for at least three months!!

It's really starting to annoy me because seeing as hits/comments/subs play a huge part on you rising within the youtube community. Every view I get on those videos is now just in vain because it contributes to nothing. As much as youtube is a community everybody is fighting to get partnered, gain more of a following- which is hard to get noticed when your counter has been stopped and no longer reflects the true amount of views.

I'm trying to find an e-mail address or a way to contact contact them to rectify this mistake and huge inconvenience. But even after figuring out how to contact them, I'll be lucky to even get a response, I'm really a nobody in terms of youtube's eyes because I am not a partner and not having alot of views, could make me fly under their radar.

The right to express yourself.

This blog is a bit different, but still youtube related. A youtuber that I am subscribed to and follow on twitter has been posting tweets lately about how she has been copping abuse and being the subject of ridicule because she makes videos on youtube...

People need to back the FUCK UP!

Wow, are they being serious right now? Just because you are going after something that you enjoy [and isn't hurting anybody] people think they can abuse you and try and stop you doing what you do best. That isn't on!

Who are we to tell others: Not to write short stories, songs and poetry. Who are we to stop people from making short films, drawing and painting pictures? It is crazy and sad that just because what one person wants to achieve, isn't want everybody else wants to achieve they feel they have the right to put someone down.

I guess the point of this blog is to get it across to people that in life there are going to be people who are going to try and block you. Even friends, they will try to stand in the way between you and what you want to get out of life. Don't conform to their ideals and expectations- achieve what you want!

I mean, if you aren't hurting anybody and making them feel bad- then go for it! Even with all these distractions and people telling you to give up, you have to stay focused and never lose sight of what you want. Because when you reach where you wanted to be- you'll look back and think "I did this". You'll be thankful for those who didn't hold you back, but encouraged you along as we all realizing those who stood in your way.

Despite these haters and their efforts to get her to stop making videos, I am proud to say it seems to have had little effect on her.

I want to be on Jersey Shore

When I first heard of this show I was like "Great! Another reason for people to think us Italians are stupid Gorillas!".

One of my youtube channels, http://www.youtube.com/YLDFRA is dedicated to this kind of "Italian/Guido/Ethnic humour". I knew this show would present some comedic value that I could incorperate in to my videos, Seeing as I don't have cable TV [I watch way too much as it is, cable would only make me watch more.] so I downloaded the first series..

I laughed so hard.

Not because I thought these guys were stupid but because most of the things they do in the show, I've done. When out at the clubs, school discos and house parties for as long as I can remember I have been fist pumping. I have been fist pumping since my first disco back in Kindy back in '94 and ever since then most people [who seem to not know any Italians or aren't Italian] had no idea what the fuck was going on.

But now, thanks to Jersey Shore, all these jerk offs, Wanna-Be's are now fist pumping. Not even fist pumping like champs, but like chumps! The same people that badmouthed us Guidos/Italians and fist pumping years ago- their now seeing that everybody is loving this show and their trying to copy the style.

Even though I am in Australia, I would love to get on the Jersey Shore. Soon as this Guido would step foot in the house I would keep these Guidos and Guidettes on their A-game.

I am a youtube 'comedian'. I have two channels. YLDFRA and OnlyAPhase.

I use the term 'comedian' extremely loosely - It was the only category that resembled what my videos are about. Don't expect stand up routines, otherwise you'll be disappointed.

I live in Australia so at least if you don't find my videos funny you can just laugh at my accent. You get to laugh, I get views. It's really a win for the both of us.

YLDFRA is an Italian-Australian comedy channel with various skits depicting the ethnic side of life in Australia.

OnlyAPhase is non-ethnic comedy. Skits on situations that we have all been in and just various videos that are comedy.

I'm not really any good with blogging but I wanted to do this so then it is another way to get in touch with those that watch my videos as well as attracting new people and be able to explain/promote reasons behind my videos. As well as anything else I feel like blogging about.
